Hello lovely people!
I have neglected the blog side of this site for a very long time, but what better time to revamp it than when I am celebrating my new role as a d+k Ambassador!
Currently I am running a giveaway on Instagram (click here) for a $100 gift voucher for d+k and there's only a few days left to enter! All the details on how to enter are in the post, so go check it out!
Now, this ambassadorship is really important to me because I have totally fallen in love with this brand. They contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if I would like to be a part of their ambassador program, which I was delighted with as I have really struggled to come across brands that want to work with me that have shared goals and ethics with me. So here are some reasons why I genuinely love this brand.
1. They've got something for everyone
D+k have loads of different ranges, including:
Womens
Mens
Maternity
Embrace (typically known as a Curve or Plus-sized range)
and more accessories for everyone.
2. They're right here in Australia
All the people I've spoken with are Aussies working up in Brisbane in their warehouse where all their pieces are made - in fact pretty much every branch of d+k is under the same roof. From manufacturing to photoshoots to sales, it's all done in their HQ.
3. They're sustainable
D+k aim to kick fast-fashion to the curb by using a lot of sustainable practices in their business. They really do care about the quality of the product as well as the environmental consequences of their brand.
4. They won't cost you an arm and a leg
The highest priced item I could find was $119.99 and the lowest was just $14.95! Much less than a lot of other activewear brands, especially considering how much work and thought goes into each item.
Where they can improve
After trying their clothing, I am very impressed with the quality of the items, however I have had some issues with sizing.
I think it would be great if d+k could continue to integrate more recycled fabrics into their clothing and seek to find more fabric manufacturers in Australia, or at least broadcast exactly where each piece of fabric comes from (they do this a bit already which is great).
I have spoken to them about their postage and they said they are working towards using plastic-free or more sustainable postage packaging which would be awesome. They also said they are increasing the ways in which they recycle their fabric scraps!
GET A DISCOUNT
